My To Do List for the Next Four days

Aside from the question "How should I reflect this holy week?" I am also uncertain on which of the following should I do during the four non-working days:
* crochet projects my cell phone case and a tortoise
* tissue paper project: book mark
* scrap book arts and crafts
* blog articles
* read novels
* general cleaning cabinet
* organize my files

Sigh. I guess, it will be a "mood" basis type of decision-making and accomplishment of tasks.

Wheel of Heart

I made this crochet fillet heart so I'll be able to join in Toni's February Blog Carnival (for the first time I intended to join).
This one is an attempt to make something out of my own imagination after I saw a cute crochet heart. I am currently writing its pattern. Actually , I am planning to make a stuffed heart out of this simple heart pattern. ^_^

Pen Pal Acorn

Recently, I made an amigurumi acorn (thanks to planetjune.com for the free pattern. It reminds me of Sir Henry who frequently used it as example during his discussions on our Philosophy subjects way back my college days. I made my crocheted acorn into a pen pal by weaving 50 chains that serves as tie. However, Suzie asked for it and used it as her ID accesory.

I'll post pix soon.

Crocheting...again

Dr. Eve found out that I love crocheting. She told me to drop by to her office during one of my free time for a christmas bell tutorial. She also told me this: You love crocheting? You'll be an old maid. She laughed; I sighed. (I wondered if she would have stated "like me" if mam Fe did not asked her something else... ^_^)

The incident lingered my mind the whole day not only because of the curse-like statement but because it made me long to ablaze my almost dormat hobby.

I have not tried to make a crochet project by following a particular pattern, my previous works 9coin purse and shoulder bags) are simply combination of the basics stitches that go the way I imagined. Now it different, I wanted to learn make a project following a pattern. I also plan to make cute crochet items aside form bags. I surfed the net and browsed for angels and raindeers patterns. I'll post here a finished project soon.

I'm excited!
